who am i?

I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and editor looking to apply my knowledge. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Oregon State University, around 8 years of graphic design experience, and detailed knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as other art/design programs.

I am highly interested in pursuing work that enhances a given brand. I am obsessed with very aspect of design; Marketing materials, digital & print deliverables, video creation/editing, brand (logo/ typography/color) design. I continue to learn more and more everyday, and I don’t see an end to my learning in sight.

I want to expand my knowledge and experiences with art and design, take opportunities that take me out of my comfort zone, and continue to meet, learn from, and network with diverse teams and people. I consider visual art as a true calling for myself and can't wait to apply and develop my expertise.

My love for illustration and design pushes me toward a career in the visual arts. I don’t want to be the type of person who treats their job like a chore, doesn’t dream about the future, or chooses to whither away in a cubicle. I believe that when you pursue a career that you genuinely enjoy, you will feel like you’re never working.

I believe that I thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment. Some things I strongly value in a work environment would be honest communication, a positive team dynamic, and inclusivity within the workplace.

When it comes to the work I do, I consider myself very efficient and detail oriented, and am very receptive with last minute criticisms or changes. Honest, constructive feedback is something that I greatly value and believe is one of the most important parts of the design process. Without collaboration, many designers fail to create effective designs for their target audience.

I believe I would be a solid addition to your team due to my motivated and energetic personality and my ability to not only lead, but motivate a team. I work well under pressure and can effectively stay on track to meet deadlines. I am also incredibly flexible and often enjoy picking up the extra work. I can efficiently work independently or in a group; Whatever gets it done!
